Chemical Sourcing Policy and Management

Chemicals are of vital importance to viscose production, which are employed at many stages of the production of viscose fiber, from the pulping of wood chips to the creation of viscose fiber. We are aware of the effects of the chemicals we use, and we've put in place a strong chemical management system that outlines our broad strategies.


The most importance chemicals used are caustic soda(NaOH), sulfuric acid(H2SO4), sodium sulfate(Na2SO4), zinc sulfate(ZnSO4), chemical additives. Figures for chemical sourcing are not provided for confidentiality reasons.


Under the strict implementation of the requirements of related laws and regulations such as the Work Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals, and the General Norms for Safety Standardization of Hazardous Chemicals Enterprises, the Company, in combination with the actual situation, formulated the Safety Management Regulation on Hazardous Chemicals of Yibin Grace Co., Ltd., and carry out whole process standardized management of identification, statistics, purchase, storage, custody, production, use, in & out warehousing, loading and unloading, and disposal of hazardous chemicals. At the same time, reduction targets are set for all kinds of harmful chemicals every year, and continuous and effective chemical management plans ensure that they meet the safety standards in a strict manner.
